Support for the Limpopo delegation
The
Limpopo delegation will be participating in the annual South African National
Schools Debating Championships that take place at Stellenbosch University from
the 13th – 18th December 2014. The tournament brings
together high school learners from across the country to debate current issues
in South Africa and around the world.
We
will be hosting an exhibition debate fundraiser to help the team raise funds to
attend the prestigious championships. Limpopo’s best speakers will be debating an
issue that has become a matter of interest for many South Africans and Africans
alike - political dynasties holding elected offices.
The
exhibition debate will take place at Hoërskool Noorderland School Hall on
Saturday, 15 November 2014 from 13:00 – 15:00. Tickets will cost R25.00 and
will be available for sale on the day at the school and from our provincial
speakers. All proceeds from the event will be towards the total cost of
attending the tournament.
