RE: Polokwane Debating League (PDL) Schools’ Tournament

You are invited to participate in the PDL Schools’ Tournament, taking place on the
20 August 2011 from 08:00 – 16:00 at Hoërskool Noorderland. This tournament will also be the provincial trials for the National Schools’ Debating Championships.

Take note of the provisional programme for the day:

07:30 – 08:00            REGISTRATION

08:00                          Round 1

09:30                          Round 2

11:00                          Round 3

12:30                          LUNCH

13:30                          Round 4

15:00                          AWARDS & DEPARTURE

Teams consist of 5 members and 1 adjudicator. Each school may register two teams: One senior team (Grade 10-12) and one junior team (Grade 8-9).

Please complete the attached registration form and return it to me. The registration fee will be R150.00 per team. Registration closes on Tuesday, 16 August 2011.

A light lunch will be served.
